Exhibited Project Proposal—Public Toilet Program: Whisper of Water Mirror, Art Field Nanhai, Foshan 2024

展出的公厕项目方案：水镜之语，南海大地艺术节，佛山 2024

As an art installation in front of a public restroom, Whisper of Water Mirror ingeniously integrates the geographic symbols of Yannan Village and its local glass industry features.

Custom mirrors are set at the entrance of the restroom, shaped after the classic fish ponds scattered across Yannan Village. Beyond practical daily functions, the installation acts as a gateway connecting local history, nature and humanistic landscapes. Surrounded by lush living plant walls and colorful ripple-patterned glass panels, it creates a contemporary yet nature-embedded space. Far more than a superficial renovation, the work invites every visitor to pause and appreciate the distinctive water culture of Nanhai, while reflecting on the significance of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.

水镜之语作为公厕前的艺术装置，巧妙融合了烟南村的地理符号与玻璃产业特色。

位于公厕入口前的特制镜子，其形状借鉴自烟南村典型的鱼塘，不仅提供了实用的功能服务，更成为了一扇通往历史、自然与人文景观的大门。镜子周边围绕着郁郁葱葱的植物墙，以及色彩斑斓的水波纹玻璃，共同构建了一个既现代又贴近自然的环境。这不仅仅是一次简单的外观美化，更是希望通过这样的方式，让每一位使用者都能停留片刻，感受南海独特的水文化，思考人与自然和谐共生的重要性。
